Why do so many people say epic on this site?

It's kind of weird. I've never heard it used that much before I saw this site.Why do so many people say epic on this site?

Idk.. I've wondered the same thing lately. It's pretty annoying. Who says that? I've never heard anybody use that word until a few months ago on here...

Seriously it is a bit annoying though.
My friends and I use it amongst ourselves.Is there a better word than epic?:P

It's a fad all over, not just on this site. Apparently the fad hasn't hit where you live. People say it all the time where I live. It's the next ''groovy''.

Cuz there's some epic stuff going on all the time, like the mods dealing with the flamers. It's so epic.
I use it sarcasticly.. Epic is used when talking about a certain type of Poem but somehow it turned into something that means ''Grandiose'' or these days ''Awesome''.
Because some people like to be sarcastic, and others like to exzagerate. I agree though, it is getting annoying hearing ''ZOMFG!!!!!11! TEH 3PIC WINZ!''.

I use it pretty freely, on the internet, amongst my friends, even with relatives (only the cool ones).
