Have you been seriously affected by the economy yet?

I have not been. Still work the same job, go to school, buy stuff, etc. I'm just glad gas has gone down like it has. What about you?Have you been seriously affected by the economy yet?
Same. Surprisingly (or not) things have actually gotten better for me.Have you been seriously affected by the economy yet?
Nope since I don't even have a job.
I've been doing fine but I have family members thinking of filing bankruptcy. There's some hardship out there for sure.
Not really, since I didn't have all that much money to begin with. My Aunt and Uncle were hit pretty hard and took some heavy losses on some stocks though.
nope, i don't have a job so nothing really effects that. my friend's family is going through hard time though. their poore i gues, it pisses me off the things that go on. they conplain thier waisting electroicty but a lot of times nobody is in a room thier tv is on. his mom is always going out(bar, club?)
How the **** do I know, I am still in school!
Things have gotten a lot better, I now live in a car rather than a box.
Nope, I need to give it a year. I'm guessing... hmm... 97.46% of my family's money will be taxed on? Am I off by much?

No, the telecommunications industry is one of those recession proof jobs.
Not really, there's always a delayed reaction in my region and Singapore would be the hub to get hit first if anything happens >_>

Nope. if anything life is better with lower petrol prices and the cutting of interest rates.

Not reallyI still have a job and I go to school full-timeParents work in health care so they won't really be effected by an economic slowdown either.
nope
You still work the same job, etc, but how much more of your money has been spent on gas over the past two years than previously?  How much more expensive are the products you buy as a result of increased shipping costs due to higher gas prices?  Those are rhetorical questions of course.I guess it's people who had money invested in any stocks that dropped who have been hit the hardest, and stock investment, often through one's own work, is actually a significant part of many people's retirement plans.
