Yes the statement that I just said is a strong one. And I'll need evidence to back it up, and I have that Here it is:First of all, people worship him like he's black Jesus, I have some friends that bought multiple copies of his Carter 3 album, just so he could make it to a million sales. That's pretty sad. Even Adolf Hitler deserves some of the praise that he got from people. He built Germany up from being a third world country, to being a super-power, in a relatively short amount of time. He does deserve the thanks for that. And on the other hand Lil Wayne does nothing. Nothing, but fool people into believing that he has great music. He does not deserve the title ''Greatest Rapper Alive.'' Secondly, much of his lyrics make no sense whatsoever, or he'll repeat himself with the same word, and use a different meaning of it, he'll also say a word, and use a word that sounds similar to the word he just said but makes no sense with what he just said. One of the few songs that he created that made sense in its entirety was ''I Feel Like Dying'' which was automatically going to make sense because it's a song about being high. I will post the lyrics to one of his songs, and highlight all of these errors, and lyrical tricks. If I miss some, feel free to correct me. All ''[bleeps]'' are cuss words.''A Milli''
Young Money
Ya Dig
A millionaire, I'm a young money millionaire
Tougher than Nigerian hair
My criteria compared to your career this isn't fair
I'm a venereal disease like a menstrual bleed
Through the pencil and leak on the sheet of the tablet
In my mind 'cause I don't write [bleep] 'cause I ain't got time
'cause my seconds, minutes, hours go to the all mighty dollar
And the all mighty power of that ch, ch, ch, ch chopper
Sister, brother, son, daughter, father [bleep] a coppa
Got the Maserati dancin' on the bridge [bleep] poppin'
Tell the coppers hahahaha you can't catch 'em, you can't stop 'em
I go by them goon rules if you can't beat 'em then you pop 'em
You can't man 'em then you mop 'em,
You can't stand 'em then you drop 'em,
You pop 'em 'cause we pop 'em like Orville Redenbacher!!
Mother[bleep] I'm ill
A million here, a million there

Hahahaha You see...... I know that I didn't catch everything, and from what I did catch 40% of that song fails. Lil Wayne probably knows that most people don't really try to listen to the lyrics of the music, they only care if it sounds good. So he manipulates the core sounds of his music to be appealing to the ear, but when you listen to it it's crap, pure crap. Lil Wayne is a master of musical deception, nothing more.Discuss.EDIT: I've found other easons why people like him. They love his ''swag'', which is the way he dresses, and carries himself, they also love his voice, not to mention his hair.Lil Wayne is one of the most overpraised human beings in recent history.

[QUOTE=''nVidiaGaMer'']No he isn't Lollipop is actually a good song.[/QUOTE]Wrong.
I don't really care for lil wayne at all, but who cares as long as it sounds good?
[QUOTE=''Bauers-Twin'']all rap is overpraised, the genre as a whole deserves negative priase.[/QUOTE]That's almost as ignorant as saying Lil Wayne is the best rapper.
How do you really feel?
Go ahead and flame him. Call his music repetitive and over rated. But thats not going to stop me and millions of other people from loving his music. So go ahead and hate if it makes you feel better.
And I'm grindin' til I'm tired cuz They say ''You ain't grindin' til you tired'' So I'm grindin' with my eyes wide Looking to find A way Through the day A light For the night Dear Lord, you've done took so many of my people but I'm just wonderin' why You haven't taken (my life? x3) Like what the hell am I (doing right? x3) (My Life x3)
