I HATE that place, they always used that darned bait and switch crap, where they advertise an incredible deal, and when you get there they say they don't have any. They have been sued multiple times for false advertising, and it is definitely justified.They had a deal once when you bought COD4 you got COD3 for free, so my buddy went to get it and the employee said they had plenty of copies and they were even visible behind the desk, and then the manager interrupted him and said they were all out of COD3. They have good deals on new games where you get a gift card.However, as you said they seem to do the bait and switch a lot. Also getting help there or even just checking out is nigh impossible in my experience. Circuit City

I actually liked CC. The selection was decent, the displays were tidy and the employees were very helpful.They were nazis when it came to returning items but now that they are out of business, I can understand why.
I worked there for almost 2 years. Quit about 2 years ago, I'm not surprised, the place was bleeding money while I was there.Management were/are a bunch of fools.
i've always had mixed feeling about circuit city, i like the fact that they have good movies for 10 dollars or less.but like one poster already said, best buy forever

I dont like that store anyways. One time Ubisoft had this deal, buy POP and get splinter cell free. It was even advertised in the CC weekly. But when I went into the store, they said they didn't have any splinter cell copies, but I could still buy POP. I was like I want my free game damnit. So I went to another retailer that did have it and got the game. That was the last time I ever went to CC.
I work at Circuit City. One of the better ones in our region. We're not closing. Certain stores are, but not most of us. And your warranties, gift cards, and everything will still be valid.

I hit like 3 Circuit Cities telling them of that deal and two REFUSED to honor the deal. The third looked it up and actually made the sale. Good, I hate that place. And if the store in my area is like any of the others, I can see why they're going out of business. Once I clocked in and just sat in the back... no one ever even knew I was there. The management is laughable.
I never had any problems with Circuit City. I bought a lot of stuff there, especially because they offer free shipping on most orders. They also allow me to place an order online and pick it up at the store a half hour later. Gotta love that! Too bad they are going out of business.
Good they stink, time to get a TV from them cheap cause they are going out of business. Best buy is so much better, they have a huger selection.
