Need cheering up

My dog for twelve years was diagnosed today with lung cancer, and will be put down tomorrow due to the severe breathing troubles he has, causing him pain.
I'm traumatized seeing as how I grew up with him since I was seven years old. Anyways, I need good movies to watch, or jokes to read, sites to see, etc.
Please help a fellow forumite out. :)Need cheering up

that sucks man, all you e to remember is he wont be in anymore pain. we had to put our dog down a few years ago. he was 15. had him since i was 4 :( just keep your chin up.

Yeah dude that sucks. We had to put my dog down years ago, he was the only one we had for the majority of my childhood. You should just remember that you gave him a far better life than he could have had and likewise made you feel much better than you would have without him. I know you don't care about getting a new dog now, but I'm sure eventually you will and that one will make you feel great as well. I can't wait until I get an apartment next summer so I can finally get a new dog, I'll probably rescue one from the shelter.
Dude I feel you man. My dog Lady lived for 16 years and she had been with me since I was born. She eventually died when I was around 10 years old. It was completely different for me since i was so young and confused. Just try to do things that usually make you happy. Its going to be tough since your dog was a big part of your life.
I guess one of the good things will be that your dog wont be in pain anymore.
