Were like skiping thanksgiving to get to christmas crap. Its not thanksgiving and i am hearing christmas music already. Really how about we all stop and say thansk for a wonderful land and pepople in it. (yes there are bad people) but there also good people in the world. were getting way to selfish

Being that I'm thankful everyday, I am not a pilgrim, and only celebrate thanksgivng for the food I really could care less about this holiday. Its all about Black Friday anyway.Being that I am Christian, and have been celebrating Christmas since I was born, and really enjoy the presents, then heck yeah its all about Christmas for me. Already have holiday stuff up in my office.

i just gotta ask how old are you? stores have been doing this for 20+ years , in my store we play it becuase statistics show that customers are more prone to purchase xmas related items if they are in the atmosphere. as opposed to playing ''i kissed a girl''
I saw this thread and I entered it with High Expectations that somebody was actually talking about how negative materlism is on American culture. But then I found out it wasn't.

i could care less for thanksgiving or christmas.
capitalism means that people will do things to make money and not care about anything other than that.
In Canada, it's not so bad, Thanksgiving is at October for me, but yeah, I feel you on this. It's really sickening how commercialized Christmas really is now.
I like thanksgiving all the food and hanging out with relatives. So I look forward to it.that being said, I am always more excited for Christmas.
Ok first off i think that thanksgiving is just another hallmark holiday like valentines with some stupid made up story that pioneers had a feast with the indians or whatever your want to call them in the end its all about making money.
