In my opinion, waiters/waitresses and teachers do not make nearly enoguh for what they do.Waiters bust their behinds just to serve you, and they make less then minimum wage. (US, not Europe)Teachers (college professors excluded) make very little when they start, and they hold a college degree, and have to teach up and coming students. I think teaching is a really respectable position, but they get screwed for pay.your opinion? In Your Opinion: Jobs That Deserve Better Pay

I agree with you, I think teachers and waiters/waitresses should deffinently get paid more money.Another job that I think you should get paid more money for is being a cop. Wheather you hate law enforcement or not, everyday they have a bullseye on their head just because they're wearing the uniform. Im not saying they get paid horribly, but if you think about all they really do, I would want to get paid more.
Yeah, but waiting gets you tips. The bigger the party= bigger the tip. The more tables you serve in a day= bigger tips. On some nights, you can make a killing with serving.

But if your customers dont tip, your screwed. In MA, minimum wage is 8.00. Waiters make half that per hour, and need tips.
Armed forces and services. Services being police, firemen, paramedics etc.

Teachers make plenty! Even my own econ teacher from last year said so! Think about it. They get 2 months of summer break, weekends off, they only work 8-3, winter break, spring break, etc
Gamespot moderators.
Technically nobody's really underpayed. Wages are determined by the value society places on a certain position and the free market reflects that. However from my personal point of view I really hate that we as a culture place more value on athletes and celebrities than on firemen and police officers.
teachers get paid well were i live.. so do all Civil servants really. basically i think some jobs that are only a few hours a day jobs like cleaners deserve a bit more because they work less hours.. but i also believe that people know what pay they are taking when they agree to the job so really have no reason to complain.
Teachers and nurses.
my job:P (seroiusly I havent made any profit in the last several months)also your right about teacher considering the college degree and having to put up with kids all day I can definitly see where your coming from
Military. 15K a year is not enough IMO.
Definitely baseball players. After taxes, they only make an average of 3 million a year. A man has to eat people!

I'd have to say the majority of people who work in nursing. We get abused. V_V
Teachers by far, every teacher in the US should have their salary doubled tomorrow, cops, electrical lineman, highway workers. Anyone who works a fairly dangerous job that benefits us all.
Teachers, police officers and firemen.
