Do you have a diary or journal?

Ever since I moved into school this semester, I've had some trouble with my new roommates, so a few days ago I decided to vent my frustrations in a Microsoft Word document. I found it incredibly theraputic to organize all of my thoughts and put them into text, and since it's all on my laptop I never have to worry about one of my room mates accidentally discovering it. Any time one of them does something that annoys me, I can just write about it in my diary document and state exactly why I was annoyed by the incident, and how it made me feel in an organized way. I don't always write negative stuff in it, but seeing as I've only been keeping it for a few days, I don't have very many entries yet in general. The way I see it, if I write down things that are bothering me, I don't have to carry them around in my head. So, does anyone else here keep a diary or journal? And if you don't mind discussing, what is your main purpose for keeping one? Do you have a diary or journal?
Yeah, I have a personal leather back journal and I use my gs blog as a journalDo you have a diary or journal?

I used to do a journal back when I was in elementary school. I don't keep a journal anymore. I keep my thoughts to myself, or if I have an issue, I take care of it. I sort of have a journal, but it is not a record of my emotions or what's going on in my life, but more like philosophical ideas, political stances, reactions to news, and sometimes I do a little GONZO style. I plan on majoring in Journalism.
I've had diaries for many years now but mainly just to organise my life and help me keep track of things I need to be doing. I only ever write a detailed description if it's something I want to remember, like a holiday or special event.
I never saw the use for a journal.
Nope, never had one but OT and my blog to some extent can be my journal.
I've thought about, but I wouldn't be able to write much as my life is pretty boring.
Neither. I've got practically no discipline, my memory is faulty and I suck at management, so trying to confine all my experiences into a book and doing so every event wouldn't really be something that I would do.
I used to have some blogs and stuff, but I don't really have any diary-like blogs. I have some that I share with my friends and vice  versa, though. All through junior high I had a handwritten journal. I stopped by 9th grade, though, but a month or so ago, I started up a handwritten journal again. It's kind of nice.

Nope i sure don't! :D
I tried to start one, but it never really got going so I keep it all up *points at head* here. :)
Nope. the stuff that goes on in my life / needs not be in a place where it can be found
thinking about it would be a good ieda to have one to be able to vent my emotions into it and be able to express my ideas in a way where i wouldnt be judged by other people
Yes, I have a blog.
Hell no.
I had a journal on my computer, but I couldnt get into the habit of writing in it daily and now its just sitting there.
Nope, seems pointless to me.
