Awkward situation for all guys

No matter how overly confident or how tough you are this has got to be the most awkward thing for a guy (the first time they do it). Walking into your local store and buying a pack of condoms. It's not even that the people at the register make it awkward, they actually try and make it less awkward for you. I know there's nothing to be nervous about, but there's just something about the way that sex is portrayed in america that makes it so weird. Anyone have a horribly awkward situation they wanna share since i just had one haha.  BTW let's keep this clean ladies and gentlemen. We don't want any stories about how you used them. Awkward situation for all guys

i haven't but i went with a friend because he wouldn't by himself, he took for ever and i was offering to buy them for him but he said he didn't want me to, waiting with underage mates like that for half an hour is much worse than just going in and buying a pack
The first time I did it, I was drunk so it didnt bother me.
It depends what mood I'm in. If I'm in a good mood, I can be comfortable doing anything... except eating insects--oh there's my answer.
Buy them off a machine?

I've never felt awkward. If it's a guy at the till, you usually get the half-grin and a nod of appreciation, if it's an older woman it's like dealing with a nurse, and if it's a girl your age then she's the only one who feels awkward.I got one girl so flustered that she tried three times to scan the condoms in, kept missing the barcode, and then gave up and just dumped them in the bag. If only that happened every time.
Well that hasn't happened to me because I don't buy condoms (I would have really no use for them because I can't use them) but I was curious about the package and I was reading it and there was this boy staring at me. It was really, really weird.

I agree, this is a bit awkward. I find it's easier when I'm alone rather than with my girlfriend...
i didn;t find it akward at all, maybe thats because i had a younger guy at the register though
